Counting Down Til Time for the Bird

I love Thanksgiving! It could be my favorite holiday. Because I love to eat. And food trumps gifts most of the time. To me, Christmas was never the same after I got past the Santa phase. But turkey is a bird for all ages.

My mom always cooks Thanksgiving dinner. We usually have turkey, cornbread stuffing, green beans, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, and for dessert pumpkin roll and some type of pie for the non-cream cheese eating crowd (Dad and Hubby). I always help her and always make my sweet tea.

Now that I'm married to a Cowboys fan, watching the game afterwards is part of our new family tradition.

Can't wait!
