I always wanted to do a show about four women...oh wait, that's the wrong introduction.

Despite the name of this blog, I'm not a great homemaker. There are usually always dirty dishes in my house and the laundry is never caught up. But I try. I'm very much your traditional country girl in that I take great delight in my flower gardens and I aspire to bake the perfect cake. I'm also a very practical woman who considers looking for bargains a hobby. I've created this site as a way to share some of my interests and hopefully provide some helpful hints or inspiration.
